How to authenticate each parent/guardian with each child?

In order to authenticate each parent/guardian with each child in a safe and secure way, you will be provided a secure, unique PIN for each child. Parents will register themselves for the portal and then use the patient PIN provided to add each child to their account.

How old do you have to be to have a proxy account?

If your child is over 18, your child will need to set up their own portal account and request to add a parent as a proxy account. Please see the following:

How to register for ABCD?

To register and take advantage of everything the portal has to offer, please send us an email to [email protected] with the following information: patient (s) name, date (s) of birth, your name, your relationship to patient (s), and your email address. We will complete the registration process and email you a temporary password. Once you log on, the system will prompt you to create a more personalized and secure password. ABCD Pediatrics will not keep a record of this password, but it can be deleted and reset on request with proper identification. We encourage you to keep your password in a secure place, and only share it with those individuals you wish to give access to your children’s health records. We will be unable to police who can and cannot log onto the portal, so please consider your choices carefully.

What is the name of the law that requires healthcare providers to keep patient records?
