Does Trinity Medical Associates prescribe controlled substances?

It is the general policy of Trinity Medical Associates to not prescribe controlled substances on the first patient visit, nor for long-term management of chronic conditions if management by a specialist would be more appropriate. In these cases we will seek to refer to the proper specialist to help manage the condition.

Does Trinity Medical treat minors?

Trinity Medical will not treat minor patients, unaccompanied by a parent or guardian, without the written consent of a parent or guardian, except under the exceptions required by law.

What is Trinity Medical Associates?

Trinity Medical Associates can manage most healthcare needs for you and your family. Our facility is equipped with the most advanced equipment, a walk-in clinic for your urgent needs, a dispensary where we can fill most of your medication needs, a gastrointestinal suite for screening and diagnostic colonoscopies and EGDs, a treadmill for stress tests, and facilities for minor surgical procedures.

Does Trinity Medical Associates offer telehealth?

Trinity Medical Associates offers telehealth appointments for qualifying patients, including those with chronic disease and acute illness. Telehealth services allow Trinity patients to meet with their primary healthcare provider through either a live video chat or phone conversation, rather than coming into a physician’s office or clinic.

How to sign up for patient portal?

When you appear at a clinic or have a hospital visit, you will be asked if you would like to sign up for the patient portal. Provided you give us a photo ID and a valid email address, you will receive an email invitation with a link that connects you to another secure site where you set up your portal user account. Once you’ve followed the link you will be given directions on how to complete the registration process.

What is the patient portal?

The patient portal is designed for routine health management. It should not be used for emergency related questions. If you have an emergency or other urgent matter, call 911 or proceed immediately to the Trinity Emergency/Trauma Center.

Is Patient Portal password protected?

The Patient Portal is password protected, and all messages are encrypted to ensure security. No one will be able to view your health information except you or someone you have authorized, and your care team.
