Are caregivers allowed at Spalding Regional Hospital?

No essential caregivers (visitors) are permitted. Parking is free at Spalding Regional Hospital. Patients and visitors can enter the campus from 8th Street, or the Women’s Center and Emergency Room from Graeffe street.

What is the shuttle service at WellStar Spalding regional?

Spalding Regional offers a shuttle service to transport you to and from the main hospital parking lot and Outpatient Center and runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to noon and then 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Welcome to the Wellstar Spalding Regional Volunteers!

In the upper left corner, select your student's name. If you have mulitple students at Archbishop Spalding, this spot will say "Children". Click "Children" then select a student to see their information.

If you seek hospital records or records from any other medical facility, you will want to request them directly from that facility.

Who can access medical records?

To request medical records, you must be the patient, or the parent or guardian of the patient for whom you seek records. Caregivers may be able to access records if the patient has provided written permission to the provider.

How to obtain a copy of a Wellstar medical record?

To obtain a copy of a Wellstar medical record, we require a written request and properly executed patient authorization for disclosure of protected health information. This can be mailed to Health Information Management, Release of Information Services, at the address of the appropriate Wellstar Hospital.

How to get a medical record?

If you wish to obtain medical records for you personal use we are happy to assist you in this process. The per page charge is as follows: 1 Electronic records delivered in electronic format—$6.50 2 Medical record with paper records delivered in electronic format are billed at $6.50 + 7¢ per page labor cost to create and deliver the portion of the record maintained in paper. 3 Electronic records delivered in paper 90¢ labor cost to create and deliver the portion of the record maintained electronically plus 5¢ per page for paper and toner. 4 Paper records delivered in electronic format 7¢ per page labor fee. 5 Paper records delivered in paper 12¢ per page.

If a provider believes that letting you look at your medical records can endanger your physical health, your request may be refused. They cannot deny you access just because they think you will be upset, unless they believe revealing the information might lead you to physically harming yourself.
