What is physical therapy solutions?
The staff at Physical Therapy Solutions uses both hands-on manual treatment techniques as well as exercise based treatment programs to address a wide variety of non operative and post operative diagnoses. We believe both methods, when used together, provide the best possible outcome. Also, we understand that everyone responds differently to treatments. That is why each plan of care is tailored to each individual’s needs.

What is orthotic therapy?
Physical Therapy Solutions offers both over the counter and custom molded foot orthotics to help alleviate your pain and symptoms by helping to correct biomechanical issues affecting the ankle and foot. By helping to correct mechanical flaws, orthotics can help you return to a pain free lifestyle and activities you love.
Where is Forrest from PTS?
Forrest has been part of the PTS family since 2009 after completing his undergraduate degree in Exercise, Sport, Health Education from Radford University. Shortly after, he was accepted into the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at Virginia Commonwealth University (MCV Campus). Forrest is now one of our team’s physical therapists and enjoys the wide variety of patient cases he sees at PTS. As native of Mechanicsville, Forrest grew up playing a variety of sports in and around Hanover County. He is an avid golfer and our certified TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) professional specializing in golf fitness and injury prevention. In his free time, Forrest can be found playing with his two young sons, golfing or running.
Where is Richmond Physical Therapy located?
7:00am – 6:30pm. Friday 7:00am – 5:00pm. Our Richmond Physical Therapy clinic is located inside the Richmond Ballet building on Canal Street. Our downtown location serves the heart of Richmond, with availability to meet the needs of those working downtown.

Does Physical Therapy Solutions accept health insurance?
At Physical Therapy Solutions, we participate in most health care plans and accept a variety of smaller plans. Additionally, we offer a variety of flexible self-pay and payment plan options. We understand that your injury may have a profound impact on your finances and are committed to finding a way to help you in a cost effective manor.
Initiating The Patient Workflow
There would typically be a couple of “entry points” to the patient portal for a new patient or an existing patient. New patient registration could be done right from the appointment scheduler.
Advancing The Patient Workflow
Patients would receive an invitation to the patient portal in their email to login to the portal and set up their account. That would launch the workflow, and would include two factor authentication for security purposes.
Front Desk Procedures In The Portal
Back in the EMR, once patients have completed their registration, front desk users would access a list of registered patients, manage the sending of registrations, and check where the patients are in the online registration process.
Therapist Interventions In The Portal
Therapists would be able to review the information provided by patients via the portal.
Online Bill Payments With The Portal
Online bill pay would be another important step. After generating patient statements in the EMR, these would be sent to the patient via the portal. This will make the statements available online.
