How do I set up a Phelps health account in MyChart?

If you have used previous Phelps Health patient portals (Passport, healow, eCW, etc.) you must register as a New User in order to set up an account in MyChart. Some of your information (such as allergies, medications and immunizations) from these other patient portals will be transferred over to your MyChart account.

What if I need help accessing my electronic health records?

Please notify the Health Information Management Team at 308.995.3271. They are available Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

How do I change my personal information?

If you notice an error in your personal information, such as address and phone number, please send us a change request through the portal. The change request can be found by clicking Profile, then Update Profile.

Can I see my family's electronic health records?

Yes, this is called Proxy Access. For a child under legal age, this allows a parent or legal guardian to log into their personal Phelps Memorial account, and then view information regarding their child. It is also possible to request access to another adult's health record if you help manage that adult's medical care. For more information, please contact the Team at 308.995.3271. In order to ensure the safety of our patient's information, this form must be presented in person to our Health Information Management department so identity can be verified.

Is my information secure?

We take great care to ensure your electronic health information is kept private and secure. Access to information is controlled through personal IDs and passwords. Phelps Memorial uses the latest encryption technology. All messaging is done while you are securely logged on to our website.

MyPhelps is a secure website that offers you access to your hospital records, medical history and other data. You can also use the MyPhelps patient portal to keep track of your dependents’ information.

Medical records

As a patient, you have the right to access your medical records. Copies of medical records are available to patients and physicians with the proper authorization. Our Health Information Management Office can help—call (914) 366-3060.

Support services

Phelps provides free interpreting services for patients who require assistance communicating. Notify your nurse if you need an interpreter.

Patient satisfaction

Offering you the best possible health care is our top priority. To determine where improvements are needed, we participate in the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Health Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey, a standardized tool for measuring and reporting satisfaction across all hospitals in the U.S.

Billing & insurance

Your hospital bill covers the cost of your room, meals, 24-hour nursing care, laboratory work, tests, medication, therapy and the services of hospital employees. You will receive a separate bill from your physicians for their professional services.
