To request copies of your records, please start with where you were seen and follow theses instructions:
Birth Certificates
Birth certificates for babies born at Gritman Medical Center are issued by the Idaho Bureau of Vital Records and Health Statistics and mailed 4-6 weeks after the birth. If you have not received your baby’s birth certificate within six weeks, please contact the following:
Advance Directives
Having a medical advanced directive on file is the best way to make sure your health care wishes are followed. It allows you to provide instructions on who can make medical decisions for you in the event you are unable to make them yourself. An advanced directive also allows you to determine the type and amount of care you wish to receive.

Student Health
To accommodate changes in your schedule such as class cancellations, providers at Moscow Medical have same-day appointments available. We are familiar with paperwork concerning on-campus temporary disability permits, medical withdrawals, and arranging follow-up with on-campus services such as the Counseling and Testing Center.

Can you see another provider in the clinic?
This is often possible. We try to keep spots open for this purpose. You may also see another provider in the clinic. Quick Care might be an option for minor illnesses or injuries. Your records will be updated and your doctor will be informed if you see another doctor in one of our clinics. It is always best to schedule regular follow-up appointments in advance if possible.
Does Moscow Family Medicine accept insurance?
Moscow Family Medicine accepts a great variety of insurances. Check with our billing department to be sure. We do not bill international, so if you are a student or visitor from another country you will have to pay your bill and then send it to your insurance for reimbursement. We offer prompt payment discounts for those without insurance who pay in full at the time of the visit.
Does Gritman still work with Moscow Family Medicine?
Gritman is now working joint ly with Moscow Family Medicine to operate its Moscow clinics, including the University of Idaho Student Health clinic. You and your family will still be able to see the same doctors and other staff, and the process of scheduling appointments and viewing your medical records will not change.
