How to pay my Mercy bill?

Pay Your Bill By Mail. To pay your bill by mail, you can send payments to the address included on your billing statement . Mail check or money order (made payable to Mercy) along with the tear-off form on the front of the statement. Mercy discounts our regular billed charges for patients who do not have insurance or a third party coverage benefit. This includes patients whose financial situation normally would not otherwise qualify them for financial assistance.

How long is a partial hospitalization?

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) The Partial Hospitalization Program meets 5 days per week - Monday through Friday - from 9:00am to 3:00pm and is considered a stabilization level of care. Patient admitted to this program have been determined to require medical oversight, either for medical/psychiatric issues or medication interventions. This program is staffed by a registered nurse and independently-licensed therapists who will report to the physicians and/or physician assistants any ongoing concerns that require attention. At this level of care, each person will begin the process of group therapy to address chemical dependency, and begin to develop with the therapist an appropriate treatment plan and a continuing care plan to support recovery. The objective is to stabilize for transition to the Intensive Outpatient Program for completion of treatment. The length of stay in PHP varies with each person’s needs. A person may be referred there for a little as one day or as much as two weeks. However, the average length of stay is 4-8 days. The length of stay is determined by each patient’s progress and needs combined with the assessments of both medical and therapy staff.
