What is epic at GBMC HealthCare?

At GBMC HealthCare, we’re working to deliver well-coordinated care for you and your family. To meet this goal, we're launching a new system - Epic - to provide each patient with a single integrated medical record. Beginning October 1, patients will have access to MyChart at GBMC, which replaces the existing patient portal (myGBMC).

While we do our best to accommodate walk-ins, we ask our patients to schedule an appointment when possible so that we can make sure a provider is available to see you. In order to better serve our patients Greater Baden Medical Services, Inc. is open Monday – Friday with some evening and Saturday appointments available.

What is patient portal?

The patient portal is available to allow patients to add their medical history prior to their initial appointment and to communicate with us via the internet. A valid e-mail address and accurate demographic information is required for us to invite you to access the system.

Why enter medical history before visiting a doctor?

Entering your medical history prior to your visit streamlines the process and can avoid delays in being seen by the doctor. You may still be asked to review this information with a staff member prior to seeing the doctor. If you have questions about the process, please call our main number and one of our staff members will be happy to assist you.
