How do I set up a mychkd account for my child?
Parents/legal guardians must register for a MyCHKD account in person at the pediatrician’s office. This only takes a few minutes. After that, you will receive an e-mail at the address you provide with instructions on how to set up an account.
How do I set up a patient portal account?
You can also set up a portal account by visiting patient portal and clicking on the ‘Patient Login’ button at the top of the page. Once you create your portal account, you can even download the Medfusion Mobile app, available on Apple or Android, to manage your health information right from your phone or tablet!
What time does CHKD open?
We offer extended hours at our location inside the CHKD Health Center at Oakbrooke : Afternoon and sick visits available Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., by appointment. Fridays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

New patients are welcome at both office locations. For expectant parents, we offer free prenatal, get-acquainted visits twice monthly at our Oakbrooke location. Register online for a Chesapeake Pediatrics Meet-and-Greet of your choice. We also offer same-day sick appointments upon request, along with easy access to CHKD specialists, many of whom offer appointments at the CHKD Health Center at Oakbrooke.
